Extra Tuna Mojama or “Sea Ham” are tuna loins, salted and dried, preserved with salt from the Salinas de San Pedro del Pinatar. Salazones Garre makes it using a millenary artisan technique, selecting the best yellowfin tuna loins (Thunnus albacares) sustainably fished and certified with the MSC blue seal.
It has a unique flavor that received the Superior Taste Award 2020 in Brussels with a double gold star, the most recognized certification focused on flavor worldwide.
Extra Tuna Mojama is a healthy food with the advantages of oily fish: it has low calories and a large amount of beneficial nutrients such as protein, selenium and omega 3 fatty acid.
