UMI (meaning "of the Sea" in Japanese) is a tender, semi-salted mullet roe marinated in soy sauce, wrapped in nori seaweed, pasteurized, and preserved in extra-oleic sunflower oil. A premium product, with a very balanced umami flavor that adds delicious marine notes to Mediterranean and Eastern dishes. UMI combines nori seaweed, the only plant-based source of vitamin B12, with mullet roe, an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, to create a product highly valued for its high nutrient content and a delicious and balanced umami flavor, ideal for enjoying a unique gastronomic experience.
